Dr. Keia Hewitt is an emergency physician and the Director of Emergency Services and Chief of Emergency Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina Health Lancaster Division in Lancaster SC. She is also an author featured in “The Chronicles of Women in White Coats Volume 3” where she writes about “Unsettling Gumbo” and the obstacles she faced on her journey to becoming a Woman in a White Coat.
